Frisco registered a win at Dr. Pepper Ballpark by beating the Midland RockHounds, 5-2. Pitcher Jim Reich was one reason why the RoughRiders triumphed. Picking up the save was 22-year old left-handed pitcher David Webb. The win lifts Frisco to a record of 8-11.
Angelo Tovar went 1-5 against the RockHounds. In the bottom of the first inning, he reached on an error by the P, driving in 2 runs, putting Frisco in front, 2-0.
"A confident pitcher is a dangerous thing," said Frisco manager Carlos Mercado. "That's what Jim is right now."
