RockHounds Upend Hooks, 3-2

Security Bank Ballpark was the site of an exciting ballgame between the Midland RockHounds and Corpus Christi Hooks.
The Midland RockHounds topped the Corpus Christi Hooks, 3-2, in Texas League action at Security Bank Ballpark. The standout performance belonged to Midland pitcher and New York, native Dan Berry. The RockHounds, with just their 6th win so far in 2108, have yet to catch fire.
Carlos Salgado had a big solo home run for the RockHounds in the bottom of the fifth inning. With Midland leading 2-0 and the bases empty, he got a fastball from 23-year old right-handed pitcher Matt Murphy and swatted a home run to right. It was his 4th home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the RockHounds ahead, 3-0.
"I just kind of blacked out and executed my pitches," said Berry.
