The Midland RockHounds got a superb performance from third baseman Kevin Paquette, but the Frisco RoughRiders still won the game, 4-3. Paquette went 3-4 with 3 singles. He drove in 2 runs. Carlos Figueroa closed the game out for Frisco, earning his 6th save. With the loss, Midland drops to 9-17.

Edgar Rodriguez drove in one run for Frisco. In the top of the eighth, with the teams deadlocked, 3-3, Rodriguez delivered for the RoughRiders. His run-scoring sacrifice fly put Frisco on top, 4-3.

Rodriguez attributed the win to "everyone pulling their weight."
