Springfield Beats Arkansas, 3-1

The Springfield Cardinals and Arkansas Travelers completed their game despite the inclement weather.
In a tight tilt between the Springfield Cardinals and the Arkansas Travelers, Paulino Aldana was the deciding factor. The Springfield right-hander spearheaded the 3-1 win. Aldana picked up the win for Springfield, going 7 innings. He gave up 1 run on 5 hits. He now sports a record of 2-2.
Mark Davidson had a big 2-run home run for the Cardinals in the bottom of the third inning. With Springfield leading 1-0 and a runner on 2nd, he sized up a fastball from Joel Olave, who is tied for 2nd in the TEX in innings pitched with 42.2, and punished it. The result was his 4th home run of the season, which put the Cardinals on top, 3-0.
In postgame remarks, Davidson applauded his team's "toughness."
The loss drops Arkansas to 13-15.
