The San Antonio Missions got a stellar effort from pitcher Tom Ruoff, helping San Antonio score a win over the visiting Midland RockHounds, 3-1. Miguel Meza recorded the save for San Antonio, his 1st of the season. The first-place Missions have won 4 straight games.

With no one out in the bottom of the sixth, Billy Schneider barreled up a fastball from Sean Kontos. The result was a solo home run, putting the Missions in front, 2-0.

"We'll enjoy this win," said Ruoff. "But there's more we hope to accomplish."
