In a tight tilt between the San Antonio Missions and the Midland RockHounds, Mike Kremer was the deciding factor. The San Antonio right-hander spearheaded the 2-1 win. With the win over Midland, the Missions improved to 17-15.

The Missions got a big at-bat from third baseman Corey Lanham. For the game, Lanham was 1 for 3 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the fifth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 3rd home run of the season gave San Antonio a 2-1 lead.

"Tough win," said Kremer. "We had to earn it."
