A 4-RBI performance from the 25-year old second baseman John Burkett helped the Midland RockHounds beat the San Antonio Missions, 8-3. The victory gives Midland a record of 16-16.

With Midland leading 3-0 in the top of the first, Burkett hit a sinker from Bill Pufahl for a 2-run double. It was his 1st double of the season and put the RockHounds ahead, 5-0.

"It's nice to see a lot of guys make contributions," said RockHounds manager .
