The exploits of designated hitter Steven Froelich, who is tied for 10th in the TEX in triples with 1, helped the Tulsa Drillers defeat the Arkansas Travelers, 8-1. Froelich was 1-3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 4. The win puts Tulsa at 24-8 this season.

Froelich had a big hit for Tulsa with no one out in the top of the fifth. With Tulsa leading 1-0, Froelich hit a 3-run home run. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Drillers up, 4-0.

"It was a tough night at the plate," said Arkansas manager Paul Austin.
