Drillers Take Tight Tangle
Tulsa Drillers starter Jorge Cortez hurled his team past the Northwest Arkansas Naturals, 2-1. Tulsa reliever Elias Olivares picked up the win to move to 2-2. David Thibeaux suffered the loss. The win elevated the Drillers to 22-10.

In the bottom of the ninth, with two out and the game tied, 1-1, 27-year old left-handed pitcher Jared Coffin won it for Tulsa. With the bases loaded, Coffin hit a 1-0 changeup from David Thibeaux for a run-scoring single, giving his team the 2-1 win.

"This place was jumping at the end," Cortez said.
