Travelers Handed 7-3 Loss by Naturals
Due in large part to left fielder Vince Taylor, the Northwest Arkansas Naturals sunk the Arkansas Travelers, 7-3. Taylor was 2-3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3. The winning pitcher was Jon Figueroa. He's now 4-3. He went 5 innings, allowing 3 runs on 6 hits for the Naturals. Miguel Cruz, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 1st save.

Taylor contributed a big hit, a 3-run home run, for Northwest Arkansas in the bottom of the fifth. With his team trailing 3-1, Taylor took a changeup from Ruben Perez and stroked the home run to left. His 3rd home run of the season allowed the Naturals to leap in front, 4-3.

"I keep on showing up every day and trying to put up good at-bats and find good pitches to hit," said Taylor.

With the win, Northwest Arkansas pushed its record to 19-15.
