Naturals Knock Off Cardinals at Hammons Field

The Northwest Arkansas Naturals downed the Springfield Cardinals, 3-2. The hitting star was third baseman Dan Jackson. Jackson was 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2 for the Naturals. Andrew Gibbs sewed up the save, his 1st. The Naturals now have a mark of 19-19.
Northwest Arkansas grabbed the momentum in the top of the fifth, when Jackson, who is tied for 7th in the TEX in home runs with 7, hit a 2-run home run. His 7th home run of the season put the Naturals out in front, 2-0.
"The hot tub feels extra good after a solid win," said Jackson.
