San Antonio shortstop Joel Clarke had a good game, even if his team did not. The Missions dropped a 6-3 decision to Midland at Security Bank Ballpark. Clarke went 4-5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Eric Hartley got credit for the save for Midland. It was his 3rd of the year.

With the bases empty and no one out in the bottom of the sixth inning, designated hitter Mario Perales delivered big for the RockHounds. Midland was trailing 1-0 when he belted a solo home run.
