RockHounds Use Late Rally to Win
|
Midland RockHounds starter Scott Delgado turned a whale of an effort into a win over the San Antonio Missions. The final score was 2-1, Midland. Midland now sports a record of 16-24.
The game was decided with one out in the bottom of the ninth. With Midland trailing 1-0, Steven Tranchina hit a slider from Mark Grantham to center for a 2-run single. Just like that, the RockHounds had a walk-off win.
"This stadium was a-rockin'," said Tranchina.
