Drillers Handle Naturals, Nab 5-3 Win
|
The Tulsa Drillers picked up a win at Arvest Ballpark, taking down the Northwest Arkansas Naturals, 5-3. Starting pitcher Chris Cruz was a big reason why. Tulsa, at 25-15, holds down first place in the North Division.
B.J. Kingsbury aided the Tulsa cause with a run-scoring walk in the top of the second. For the game, the third baseman went 1 for 3 with a home run and 2 walks, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
Kingsbury called the win the result of "everyone working in tandem."
