The Midland RockHounds stopped the Frisco RoughRiders, 11-6, at Dr. Pepper Ballpark. The RockHounds got a big game from Mike Frodge, who went 3 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 3. Midland pitcher Alberto Pimentel got the win, upping his record to 4-0. Glenn Roberson got the loss. Frisco's current losing streak is now 4 games.

Midland used the hitting of Josh Wyatt to pick up the win. The first baseman clubbed a 3-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the RockHounds on top, 11-2. For the game, Wyatt had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"I was just going up there trying to see good pitches, that was about it," said Frodge.
