Frisco beat Tulsa at Dr. Pepper Ballpark, eking out a 6-5 win. The triumph was primarily due to left fielder Carlos Cruz. He was 3 for 4 with a triple and 2 doubles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Christopher S Humphreys was called on to finish, recording his 1st save. At 18-27, the RoughRiders are currently last in the South Division.

With the game tied in the bottom of the fifth inning, Cruz had a clutch at-bat. That's when he hit a sacrifice fly to give the RoughRiders a 6-5 lead.

"Winning is hard sometimes," said RoughRiders manager Carlos Mercado. "This one was nice to get."
