Cardinals Post 6-2 Win Over Corpus Christi
|
Starting pitcher Seth Jackson had a solid game. He was a big reason the Springfield Cardinals throttled the Corpus Christi Hooks, 6-2. The Cardinals are now 21-24, while the Hooks fall to 20-25.
With no one out in the top of the fifth, Bobby Johnson put Springfield in front, 1-0, with a run-scoring single. The Cardinals went on to win the ballgame.
Johnson called the win "a collective effort."
