Drillers Win by Slim Margin, 6-5
The Tulsa Drillers had to overcome a big game from Midland third baseman Juan Franco to leave ONEOK Field with a victory. And they did, winning, 6-5, in 11 innings. Franco went 2-3 with 2 singles and 2 walks. The first-place Drillers improved to 33-18.

The Drillers got a clutch hit from center fielder Chad Murphy. In the bottom of the 11th, he hit a run-scoring single to right, to win the game for the Drillers.

"Baseball is such a beautiful game," said Murphy. "Anything can happen on any night, and that's why you don't dwell on what happened yesterday. Just look forward and trust you're going to have positive results."
