The Northwest Arkansas Naturals got a sterling performance from pitcher Aaron Jernigan, but the San Antonio Missions still prevailed, 6-3. Jernigan threw 7.1 innings of 5-hit ball. Jon Hodge finished to wrap up his 1st save. The win hiked the San Antonio record to 31-21.

San Antonio took a 4-3 lead on Jose Nunez's 20th double of the season. The bases-clearing double, which Nunez hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Northwest Arkansas pitcher David Thibeaux visibly frustrated.

"I was seeing the ball well tonight," said Nunez.
