Extra-Inning Win by Missions Over Drillers
|
Mike Bradberry impressed in the 4-2 San Antonio win over Tulsa. Bradberry went 1-2 with a home run and 2 walks. The winner in relief was Jacob Magaw. He is now 5-6. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 3 innings. The Missions now have a record of 29-25 with the win over Tulsa.
San Antonio used a clutch hit from Steve Matteucci to get the win. The second baseman drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the 11th inning to put the Missions ahead, 4-2. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
"We put together a nice win," Matteucci said.
