Northwest Arkansas turned a good effort from starter Gilberto Archila into a win over the Frisco RoughRiders at Arvest Ballpark. The final score was 7-2. Archila got the win, improving to 3-2. He allowed 6 hits and walked 0 over 8 innings. Archila allowed 2 runs. With the win, Northwest Arkansas pushed its record to 32-24.

The Naturals got an important contribution from first baseman Eric Young, who in the bottom of the first punched a 1-0 fastball into left-center for a 2-run home run. It was his 16th home run of the season and put the Naturals ahead, 3-0.
