Gilmore Goes Wild, But Drillers Win
Though he had a terrific game, Will Gilmore could not prevent his team, the Northwest Arkansas Naturals, from absorbing a loss. Tulsa won the game, 6-5. Gilmore hit 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. Donovan Harding was the winner in relief. His record is now 1-0. The losing pitcher was George Bryan. With the win, Tulsa pushed its record to 33-27.

Jeremy Johnson, who is tied for 6th in the TEX in doubles with 14, came through for Tulsa with a 2-run home run in the top of the eighth. The first baseman went 2 for 4 for the game, including 1 home run and 1 double. He scored 1 run and collected 4 runs batted in.
