The San Antonio Missions overcame a good performance by Frisco pinch hitter Ramon Ponce to knock off Frisco, 5-4, at Nelson W. Wolff Municipal Stadium. Ponce was 1-1 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. San Antonio reliever Jacob Magaw picked up the win, upping his record to 6-6. Brian Williams was saddled with the loss. The victory gives San Antonio a record of 33-28.

The Missions procured the win, in large part because of third baseman Josh Redding. In the bottom of the tenth, he produced the game-winning run-scoring single.

"The game of baseball will test you," said Mike Coveney, the San Antonio skipper. "This one tested us."
