Horsley Delivers Walk-Off Win for Hooks
Corpus Christi beat Midland at Whataburger Field, escaping with a 6-5 win. The win in large part was due to first baseman Manny Alas. He went 2-3 with a double and 2 walks. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. Corpus Christi, at 26-39, holds down third place in the South Division.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when Corpus Christi shortstop Kyle Horsley, facing Steve Lacharite, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Hooks the 6-5 win.

"This house was rockin'," Alas said.
