Fans were not deterred by the threat of rain. They came to see their hometown Frisco RoughRiders take on the San Antonio Missions.

The Frisco RoughRiders beat the San Antonio Missions by a score of 4-3. Frisco catcher Gabe Adame deserved the lion's share of the credit. Adame went 4-4 with 4 singles for the RoughRiders. Tony Lopez claimed the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The left-hander allowed 1 run on 2 hits in 2.2 innings. His record stands at 1-2. Jose Obeso closed it out for his 4th save.

With the game tied, 2-2, in the bottom of the fifth, Adame had a key at-bat for Frisco. With the bases loaded, Adame hit a run-scoring single off Bobby Isom, making the score 3-2, RoughRiders.

Adame told a Frisco Today reporter that he was "more than satisfied" with the win.

Frisco is now 29-36, San Antonio 38-27.
