The Corpus Christi Hooks got a sterling performance from pitcher Chad Wilson, but the Frisco RoughRiders still prevailed, 6-4. Wilson threw 6.1 innings allowing 3 runs. Estêvão Ano came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The right-hander allowed 1 run on 2 hits in 3 innings. His record now stands at 4-5. The RoughRiders saw their record improve to 34-33.

Frisco used the timely hitting of Ramon Ponce to seize the win. The second baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the tenth inning to put the RoughRiders on top, 4-3. It was his only hit in 2 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

In postgame comments, Ponce said he was glad to contribute to an exciting win.
