The Corpus Christi Hooks soundly defeated the Frisco RoughRiders, 11-3, at Whataburger Field. Antonio Rodriguez let his bat do the talking. He was 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 5 RBI and scoring once for Corpus Christi. Ai-de Chaim earned the save for Corpus Christi, his 1st. The Hooks, at 26-44, sit in last place in the South Division.

Giovani Cesaresco helped out the Corpus Christi cause in the bottom of the third inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the third baseman was 1 for 2.
