Frisco Bats Quiet in 7-1 Loss
Lupe Trotman was instrumental in his team's 7-1 triumph over the Frisco RoughRiders. The second baseman went 2-3 with a home run, a double, and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3 for the Midland RockHounds. Ricky del Toro nailed down his 3rd save. Midland is now 26-47, Frisco 40-33.

The RockHounds got a big at-bat from center fielder Steve Morgan. For the game, Morgan went 1-2 with a double and 2 walks, while scoring 2. In the bottom of the sixth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 5th double of the season gave Midland a 2-1 lead.
