The Frisco RoughRiders could not turn a fine performance from pitcher Jerry Gibson into a win. Instead, the Arkansas Travelers prevailed, 5-4. Gibson threw 6.2 innings of 2-hit ball. At 40-37, the Travelers claim second place in the North Division.

Arkansas got a knockout punch from Kyle Gomez. The left fielder hammered a grand slam home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.

"This house was rockin'," Gomez said.
