Naturals Rally to Win, 2-1

Northwest Arkansas and Midland slugged it out for in 11 innings. Joel Horton, in particular, was outstanding. The Northwest Arkansas right-hander helped his team knock off the RockHounds, 2-1. David Santana, now 2-1, was credited with the win in 2 innings of relief. He allowed no runs on 1 hit, while striking out 2 and walking 1. Northwest Arkansas occupies first place in the North Division at 45-34.
The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the 11th inning, when Northwest Arkansas second baseman Jesus Pantoja, facing Jon Cumpston, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Naturals the 2-1 win.
"When he's dealing, Joel is a tough customer," said Northwest Arkansas manager Travis Brassard.
