The Northwest Arkansas Naturals scored a tight, 4-3 win versus the Frisco RoughRiders at Arvest Ballpark. Northwest Arkansas pitcher Cory Garza held his own in the contest. The win elevated the Naturals to 42-39.

Northwest Arkansas right fielder Jamie Martin contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the fourth. With two down, he hit a changeup to right-center field for a 2-run single. It was his 16th hit of the season and put the Naturals ahead, 4-1.

Garza called the win "a pick-me-upper."
