Midland center fielder Steve Morgan had a good game in a losing cause. His team fell, 9-6, to Tulsa at ONEOK Field. Morgan went 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Bill Pavek notched his 1st save in 1 chances. The Drillers have now won 5 straight.

In the bottom of the sixth, Roberto Sifuentes delivered a clutch hit. With two gone and runners on 1st and 3rd, the Tulsa designated hitter hit a run-scoring single, putting the Drillers in front, 9-6.

"We'll just keep our nose to the grindstone," Sifuentes told the Tulsa Bulletin.
