Naturals Snag 8-6 Win
The Northwest Arkansas Naturals besoiled an otherwise fine performance by Midland center fielder Steve Morgan by beating the RockHounds, 8-6, at Security Bank Ballpark. Morgan was 2-4 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Jason Payne, credited with the win in relief, is now 2-1. He allowed no runs on no hits in 0.1 innings. David Santana closed the game out for Northwest Arkansas, earning his 1st save.

Jesus Pantoja came through with a big-time hit for Northwest Arkansas. The shortstop smacked a 2-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to give his team the lead, 8-6. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"It was a nice win for our side today," said Naturals manager Travis Brassard. "Not perfect, but we'll take it."

The Naturals saw their record improve to 47-37.
