Travelers Rally Late to Nip RockHounds
|
In a tight game between the Arkansas Travelers and the Midland RockHounds, pitcher Marquise Ceresa was terrific on the mound. The Arkansas left-hander helped his team to the 2-1 win. The Travelers go to 36-48, putting them last in the North Division.
The defining moment came in the bottom of the ninth for Arkansas. That's when Andy Cotner hit a 2-run home run off 23-year old right-handed pitcher Justin Satern to win the game. The home crowd went wild.
"This place was rockin'," said Cotner.
