Baysox Take Down Senators, 7-6
|
The Harrisburg Senators got a superb performance from second baseman Randy Marsh. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Bowie. The Baysox won the game, 7-6. Marsh went 4 for 4 with 2 doubles and 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI. Bowie reliever John Cronin picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Adam Green shouldered the loss. Bowie is now 6-6.
The Baysox procured the win, in large part because of pinch hitter Chris Dietz. In the bottom of the tenth, he produced the game-winning run-scoring single.
"I'm just happy to help the team win," Dietz told the Bowie Times.
