The Frisco RoughRiders topped the Midland RockHounds, 6-5, in Texas League action at Security Bank Ballpark. The standout performance belonged to Frisco pitcher and Barahona, Dominican Republic, native Ramon Acosta. The RoughRiders raised their record to 51-39.

An-yi Sha went 1-4 for Frisco. With one out and the game tied in the top of the ninth inning, Sha, who is tied for 4th in the TEX in doubles with 17, had a clutch at-bat. Facing Midland hurler Eric Hartley, he hit a sacrifice fly to give the RoughRiders a 6-5 lead.

After the game, Frisco manager Carlos Mercado applauded the team's effort. "We put some good AB's together," he said.
