Alfarela Hits 2 home runs in Missions Win
Riding the 3-hit performance of the 26-year old first baseman Amaro Alfarela, the San Antonio Missions stopped the Frisco RoughRiders, 10-2. The first-place Missions, at 54-37, lead the South Division by 10½ games.

Corey Armstrong had a big bases-clearing double for the Missions in the top of the fifth inning. With San Antonio leading 3-2 and the bases loaded, he got a curveball from Terry Penberthy and swatted a double to left-center. It was his 3rd double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Missions ahead, 6-2.

"We came in and did what we needed to do," said San Antonio manager David Medina.
