RoughRiders Wrest Win from RockHounds, 2-1
|
The Midland RockHounds wasted an impressive 8-inning effort from starter Jamie Dickerson, falling 2-1 to the Frisco RoughRiders at Dr. Pepper Ballpark. The winner was Frisco reliever Estêvão Ano, now 6-5. The loser was Jamie Dickerson. The RoughRiders raised their record to 52-41.
Josh Anderson was the walk-off hero for Frisco. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the RoughRiders designated hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
"What a buzz," said Anderson after it was over.
