Late Magic Gets San Antonio 4-3 Win
|
The San Antonio Missions topped the Midland RockHounds, 4-3, in Texas League action at Security Bank Ballpark. The standout performance belonged to San Antonio pitcher and MaiquetÃa, Venezuela, native Miguel Espinoza. In 7 innings, Espinoza surrendered 9 hits, while striking out 7 and walking 0. He allowed 3 runs. The win gives San Antonio a season record of 54-42.
Josh Redding made it 4-3 in favor of San Antonio when he delivered a run-scoring single. It came with two out in the top of the eighth. The Missions went on to win.
