Corpus Christi Gets Riveting Walk-Off Win
Corpus Christi got an elite performance from starting pitcher Willie de Leon in taking a 2-1 decision over the Frisco RoughRiders. In 10 innings, de Leon surrendered 3 hits, while striking out 7 and walking 3. He allowed 1 run. With the win over Frisco, the Hooks improved to 41-55.

The Hooks relied on pinch hitter Curtis Wilbur for the game-winning hit. And, in the bottom of the tenth, he delivered, hitting a run-scoring single to seal the deal.

"Our guys just had that look of determination," said winning manager Chris Pike.
