San Antonio Topples Midland, 3-2
|
The San Antonio Missions did just enough to secure a victory over the Midland RockHounds, 3-2, at Security Bank Ballpark. Nobody did more than pitcher Victor Duro. With the win, the Missions improved to 55-42.
San Antonio used the timely hitting of Josh Redding to capture the win. The third baseman socked a 2-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Missions ahead, 3-2. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a big one.
Duro called the win the result of "everyone being in sync."
