The Frisco RoughRiders picked up a win at Security Bank Ballpark, knocking off the Midland RockHounds, 4-1. On the mound for Frisco was right-hander Mike Aguilar. He played a key role in the triumph. Aguilar got the win, improving to 5-6. He gave up 6 hits and walked 1 over 8 innings. He allowed 1 run. Frisco bumps their record to 34-63 with the win.

Joe Brathwaite came through with a big-time hit for Frisco. The pinch hitter smacked a solo home run in the top of the eighth inning to give his team the lead, 2-1. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"It was a team effort and I thought the guys had a good plan and approach," said Brathwaite after the game.
