The Midland RockHounds did just enough to sneak past the Corpus Christi Hooks, 7-6, at Whataburger Field. Midland pitcher Shane Lee, in particular, had a standout performance. With the win, Midland goes to 36-62, while the Hooks fall to 43-56.

Midland used a timely hit from Ben Harrison to get the win. The pinch hitter stroked a bases-clearing double in the top of the 11th inning to put the RockHounds ahead, 7-4. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it made an impact.

"We all want to win," said Harrison. "We all want to do our part."
