Midland Hands Corpus Christi 4-1 Defeat
|
The Midland RockHounds earned a win at Whataburger Field, stopping the Corpus Christi Hooks, 4-1. Starting pitcher Pete Friedman played a big role in his team's success. Midland has now won 3 in a row.
It could have been a different outcome for Midland, had it not been for Linhart Springer, the 29-year old second baseman . Springer contributed a solo home run in the top of the second inning to put Midland up, 3-1.
"We need to keep playing good baseball," Springer told the Midland Daily.
