Both teams had their opportunities, but in the end, the San Antonio Missions got the win.

The San Antonio Missions got a marvelous performance from pitcher Bobby Isom. The right-hander kept the Midland offense from ever getting much traction. The result was an impressive 4-2 San Antonio victory at Nelson W. Wolff Municipal Stadium. Earning his 8th save of the year was Chris Cox.

Andres Chavez helped out the San Antonio cause in the bottom of the fourth inning with a run-scoring walk. For the game, the right fielder drew 2 walks.

In postgame remarks, Isom hailed his team's "grit."
