Gutierrez Dazzles in 2-0 Tulsa Win

The first-place Tulsa Drillers took on the Arkansas Travelers in front of a spirited crowd.
The Tulsa Drillers downed the Arkansas Travelers, 2-0, at ONEOK Field. Tulsa pitcher Rod Gutierrez had a scintillating performance. The win puts Tulsa at 63-39 this season.
Gutierrez made it look effortless. He scattered 3 hits over 8 innings, while racking up 10 strikeouts. The Tulsa right-hander encountered little resistance from the Arkansas hitters. His season record is now 2-0.
"We'll pop the top on a cold beverage and get back to work tomorrow," Gutierrez said.
