The San Antonio Missions got a superb performance from third baseman Josh Redding, but the Midland RockHounds still won the game, 11-6. Redding went 3 for 4 with a home run and a double. He drove in 6 runs and scored once. Matt Franks was credited with the save for Midland, his 3rd of the season. After today's action, Midland sits at 40-64; San Antonio slips to 59-46.

Omar Carreno, the 24-year old third baseman , had a direct impact on the outcome. Carreno contributed a 2-run single in the top of the third inning to put Midland up, 4-0.

"Good win for us," said Carreno. "We'll lace up our cleats and go after the next one."
