Frisco used the hitting of Francisco Cansino to pick up the win. The designated hitter clubbed a solo home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the RoughRiders on top, 3-2. For the game, Cansino had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"Alejandro gave us a very blue collar effort," said Frisco manager Carlos Mercado.
