The Missions faced a stiff challenge from Frisco pitcher Byron Ferraro, but persevered to claim a win at Nelson W. Wolff Municipal Stadium. The final score was 1-0. Ferraro went 6 innings and allowed 1 run. San Antonio reliever Josh Morse picked up the win to move to 3-2. Byron Ferraro suffered the loss. Earning his 3rd save of the year was Brian Boon.

In the bottom of the sixth, Marco Ontiveros delivered a clutch hit. With two gone and runners on 1st and 3rd, the San Antonio right fielder hit a run-scoring single, putting the Missions in front, 1-0.
