The Frisco RoughRiders stopped the Midland RockHounds, 5-0, behind an impressive performance from Ryan O'Neal. The 26-year old center fielder made life miserable for Midland pitching. He went 2-4 with 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. The win belongs to Jose Rios in relief. His record improves to 2-0. Alex Lopez took the loss for Midland. With the win, the RoughRiders have a record of 59-52.

Frisco took a 3-0 lead on O'Neal's 16th home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which he hit off Alex Lopez in the top of the sixth, propelled Frisco to the win.
