Barrera Excels, But Travelers Win
The rain did not keep Arkansas and Tulsa from finishing their game.

Tulsa right fielder Diego Barrera had a good game in a losing cause. His team fell, 8-7, to Arkansas at Dickey-Stephens Park. Barrera went 4-4 with a home run, a double, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 3 runs. Arkansas pitcher Ernie Anderson got the win, upping his record to 3-2. Jake Young got the loss.

The Travelers got a big hit from shortstop Andy Cotner. In the bottom of the sixth, Cotner smacked a bases-clearing double off Tulsa pitcher Jake Young. It was his 5th double of the season. Suddenly, the Travelers were ahead, 6-5.

"It was offense that won us the game," said winning manager Mario Serrano.

Arkansas bumps their record to 49-63 with the win.
