Northwest Arkansas starter Alex de la Rosa kept the Midland offense from doing much damage. The right-hander leaned on his cutter in leading the Naturals to a 4-1 win. Northwest Arkansas is now 52-61, while Midland is 36-77.

Frank Gonzales, who is tied for 8th in the TEX with a .459 slugging percentage, had a direct impact on the outcome. Gonzales contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the first inning to put Northwest Arkansas up, 1-0.
