The Northwest Arkansas Naturals and Frisco RoughRiders were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.

Frisco RoughRiders starter Carlos Romero pitched his team past the Northwest Arkansas Naturals, 7-2. With the win, Frisco has a record of 61-53. Northwest Arkansas falls to 59-55.

The RoughRiders got an important contribution from center fielder Todd Peters, who in the bottom of the third punched a full count fastball into left-center for a solo home run. It was his 4th home run of the season and put the RoughRiders ahead, 2-0.

"Nothing fazes Carlos," said Frisco manager Andy Fletcher.
